Mishy is my virtual-tuber character that I created in mid-2021 and streamed on Twitch.

Originally, I drew her back in 2014-2015 for my YouTube channel when I was inspired by an anime artist's piece, but for the life of me I can't seem to remember where the original piece was from. All I can remember is that it was in a magazine and I based Mishy's design slightly on it. Her headband was added and the symbol you see there is a slight reference to an older logo I used and the one on the header of this website right now.

Many VTuber personalities and content creators have stories or origins of how they came to start streaming. For Mishy, I gave them a mushroom motif as I have always found those mycelium networks very intriguing. Not as crazy as those morel Motherlode mushroom experts those Milwaukee guys made fun of on Best of the Worst, but still pretty integrated with them. Mishy can use otherworldly "Mycelium Cyber-Tether" power to cure negative energies. I plan on making a third version of the Live2D rigging for model art some day.

They originally had their own stream, but I have recently decided to integrate Mishy into my personal stream. This convergence affects keeping things separate but I feel more comfortable making this change, as I don't feel I need to put on any sort of stream or potentially fake-seeming persona.
